From the 7th to 10th of October 2014, the Orientation NATO COIN course is being held at the military barracks Goce Delchev in Skopje and it is organized by the GS of ARM and the Peacekeeping Operations Training Center (POTC) in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the opening ceremony, Colonel Zoran Dodevski emphasized the importance of this kind of courses for the ARM personnel. He added that this is an opportunity to learn something new and to exchange experience.
Lieutenant Colonel Ismet Kadik, Chief of the mobile training team said: “It is our honor that the mobile training team of the Peacekeeping Operations Training Center in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to be here in Republic of Macedonia for the first time.”
At the course, the ARM personnel will have an opportunity to learn about the counterinsurgency operations concept and doctrine in order to create a framework of understanding the differences between counterinsurgency and conventional warfare.
Orientation NATO COIN course is being conducted by the mobile training team of instructors of the Peacekeeping Operations Training Center in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina including an instructor of the Army of Republic of Macedonia.
