Chief of General Staff of ARM LTC General Gorancho Koteski today visited Joint Operations Command (JOC) and Kumanovo garrison.
The purpose of the visit was to monitor the preparations for the upcoming exercise “Macedonian Flash 10”, during which NATO assessment level 2 of the medium infantry battalion group will be carried out. The Chief of General Staff was informed by JOC Commander General Major Metodija Velichkovski about the preparations and activities related to the upcoming exercise, as well as about realization of the activities related to ARM declared units’ preparedness for participation in NATO and EU led operations.
The visit of Chief of General Staff of ARM was also a possibility to gain insight into the condition of ARM infrastructure and facilities in Kumanovo garrison, as well as into the combat equipment and armament condition.
On this occasion General Koteski emphasized that in the forthcoming period special attention should be put on the rational usage of facilities available to ARM in this garrison, as well as discarding the unnecessary technique and equipment.
