Today, at the military barracks ‘Ilinden’, the Head of Government of Republic of Macedonia, Emil Dimitriev, the Defense Minister Zoran Jolevski and the Chief of the ARM GS, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, visited members of the Special Operations Regiment and the Military Police Battalion and followed some of the units’ activities.
The guests followed the realization of two working points. The Military Police Battalion worked out the topic ‘Securing high military officials and dealing with a mob’, while members of the Ranger’s battalion, part of the SOR, worked out the topic ‘Setting up and operating a mobile check point’.
Previously, commemorating the 15th anniversary from the killing of ARM members in Vejce, delegations from the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, the Ministry of Defense and the ARM General Staff laid wreaths of fresh flowers before the monument honoring the fallen defenders.
In the course of the day, delegations from the Special Operations Regiment, families of the deceased and from the Ministry of Interior laid bouquets of fresh flowers before the memorial features at the military barracks ‘Ilinden’, in Drachevo, Makedonska Kamenica, Bunardzik and Kumanovo.
