On the occasion of marking 116 years since the graduation of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk from the Military High School in Bitola, a delegation of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Republic of Turkey will pay a three day official visit to the Republic of Macedonia, starting today.
Today, the Deputy Chief of ARM General Staff, Lieutenant General Naser Sejdini, met with the Brigadier General Sukru Eken, who heads the delegation of the Republic of Turkey Armed Forces in which, besides senior officers, are also cadets of the Military High School of the Armed Forces of Republic of Turkey.
At the meeting in the General Staff, General Sejdini emphasized the excellent cooperation of ARM with the AF of Turkey, as well as the comprehensive support that the Republic of Turkey provides to the Republic of Macedonia’s efforts for full NATO membership. General Eken thanked for the welcome and support of MOD and GS in the organization of the ceremony marking 116 years since the graduation of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk from the Military High School in Bitola, as an event in the history that connects the two friendly countries.
Tomorrow, with high honors, in the courtyard of the Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments and Museum of Bitola, where the memorial room of Kemal Ataturk is located, 116 years since his graduation from the Military High School will be marked. The ceremony will encompass a special program, and it is expected that the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Macedonia, senior MOD and GS representatives, as well as other dignitaries will attend.
