At the military barracks ‘Goce Delchev’ in Skopje a military ceremony marked the handover of duty Commander of the centre for Electronic Reconnaissance (CER).
Lieutenant Colonel Marjan Masevski is appointed Commander of the CER, and he took over the duty from Lieutenant Colonel Nikolche Milkovski.
In accordance with the Military Protocol Regulation the appointment orders were read at the ceremony, followed by speeches from the Deputy Chief of the ARM General Staff, Major General Muhamet Racaj, the outgoing and the newly appointed commander.
Besides General Racaj, the ceremony was attended by representatives of the General Staff of the ARM, representatives of the ARM commands and units’ commanders, as well as representatives of organizations which have close cooperation with the unit.
Their speeches highlighted the significance of this unit in the system of defense, and also a message was sent for further professional and unselfish performing of duties.
With a ceremonial acceptance of the military flag of the unit, Lieutenant Colonel Masevski took over the responsibility for commanding this unit, and also, belief in the professional conduct and professionalism of the military personnel.
CER is directly subordinate to the ARM General Staff, whose mission is gathering of intelligence data through electronic reconnaissance of the EMS in order to alarm and protect the military forces, as well as gathering data important for the security and defense of the Republic of Macedonia.
