Command Sergeant Major of ARM, Sergeant Major Dragan Stojanovski, visited the National Guard (NG) of Vermont, the USA, from 21-25 of June 2015. ARM personnel took part in the logistics exercise of NG of Vermont.
During his visit of Vermont, Sergeant Major Stojanovski met his host Command Sergeant Major Toby Quick and the Commander of the NG of Vermont, Major General Steven Cray.
The logistics units exercise within NG of Vermont was held at the training base Fort Drum where the ARM personnel took part in the exercise through the “shadow commander” method.
Command Sergeant Major of NG of Vermont visited ARM last May and invited Command Sergeant Major of ARM to visit his unit. They exchanged experiences in their work in units up to battalion size during conducting of exercises. Joint exercise with NG of Vermont personnel will improve the interoperability of ARM especially in joint assignments in international peacekeeping missions.
