Yesterday, August 18, a celebration of the ARM day took place in the evening hours at the panorama post in “Ilinden” barracks in Skopje. The celebration welcomed the Chief of the General staff of the ARM, Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski, the Deputy Chief of the General staff of the ARM, Lieutenant General Naser Sejdini, the Director of the General staff, Major General Dimche Petrovski, the Commandant of the Joint Operations Command, Major General Metodija Velichkovski, ARM generals, newly promoted Colonels and the key personnel from the General staff and the subordinate units and commands.
The officers were accompanied by their spouses, and the celebration of the ARM day was used to send greetings to the Chief of the General staff for his birthday, a simbolics of its own for being on the same day as the ARM day.
During the celebration, General Koteski gave credit to all of the ARM members for their successful execution of the tasks in organization and completion of all of the activities on the occasion of the celebration of the ARM day. He especially emphasized the importance of the friendship and the socialization between the officers, pointing to the fact that the informal time spent together in the past months in Dojran, St. Naum and Kumanovo should continue in the future, in order to get to know each other more, which will have a positive effect in the execution of the tasks and duties.
