A one-week LOGREP workshop that presents an activity for individual preparation of the personnel that will participate in the logistics exercise LOGDEV 19 which will be realized from 6th to 17th May in Tbilisi, Georgia, started on 11th February, at the ARM house in Skopje.
The workshop is attended by representatives from: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Georgia, USA, Serbia, Finland, Ukraine and Sweden and a team of instructors from the NATO school from Latina, Italy.
The content, form, topics and the manner of realization is similar to the NATO course: „LOGREP Basic Course“ (NCISS kod: 226) that is at the NATO school in Latina, Italy.
The purpose of this workshop is to train the operators in using the LOGREP – Logistics Reporting module which is a part of the LOGFAS software package and it refers to the NATO logistics reporting.
It is expected that upon completion of this workshop the participants will be able to:
- Create a structure of forces and insert material resources that are available to them in the subject module:
- Connect the forces, means and geographical location;
- Produce a logistics report: LOGUPDATE and
- To provide data for evaluation and analysis of the logistics requirements
In order to round up the individual preparations process related to the LOGFAS software package, two more activities are to be realized before the start of the exercise:
- Workshop for EVE and CORSOM operators to be held in March/April in Tirana, Albania
- Workshop for Familiarization of staff officers with the LOGFAS package to be held in April in Croatia.
