The Chief of General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, had a protocol meeting with the newly appointed non-resident Defence Attaché of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Macedonia, Colonel Marek Varminski.
During the meeting General Velichkovski wished Colonel Varminski success in his duty, and at the same time expressed gratitude for the earlier support of the Republic of Poland to our strategic determination for full membership in NATO.
At the meeting, it was discussed about the possibility for future joint participation of the ARM and the Polish Armed Forces in exercises and peace support operations, continuation and expansion of the opportunities for good cooperation through new forms in the upcoming period.
