Today, 25th September 2015, the Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Metodija Velickovski met with US Ambassador in Macedonia, HE Jess L. Bailey and the Defence Attaché Colonel Thomas Butler.
At the meeting, General Velickovski and Ambassador Bailey emphasized the excellent bilateral cooperation between ARM and the Armed Forces (AF) of the USA. On this occasion the Chief of General Staff stated that the Armed Forces of the USA are a strategic partner of ARM in inter-army cooperation.
Expressing his gratitude for US support to the Republic of Macedonia in its Euro-Atlantic integration, General Velickovski pledged for further development of the cooperation between the two armies through development of projects, in favour of further advancing of ARM interoperability with NATO.
