Today (20th April 2015) the Chief of General Staff Staff Lieutenant General Goranco Koteski met with Brigadier General Wolfgang Richter, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Allied Joint Force Command in Naples.
At the meeting, General Koteski expressed gratitude for the support of the NATO Command in Naples, where ARM has deployed two staff officers. He stressed the commitment of ARM to maintain the achieved standards of the alliance, which ARM has applied in practice through participation in NATO-led missions, as well as the commitment for further implementation of Operational Capability Concept (OCC). CHOD of ARM pointed out the role of NATO Command in Naples, in support of the Republic of Macedonia for NATO membership before the upcoming NATO Summit in Poland.
General Richter stressed the role of the Republic of Macedonia and ARM in building regional and global security and expressed appreciation for the contribution of ARM in the fight against terrorism, as well as the reforms made in order to move closer to NATO.
