Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Azim Nuredin, had a meeting with the newly-appointed Switzerland Defence Attaché to Republic of North Macedonia, Colonel Urs Amiet and Colonel Lars Vejlstrup, Former Defence Attaché.
At the meeting General Nuredin congratulated Colonel Vejlstrup on his new appointment, hoping for continuation and deepening of the existent successful cooperation with the Swiss Armed Forces, especially in the area of education and training.
At the end of the meeting General Nuredin thanked former Defence Attaché and wished Colonel Urs Amiet further success in his carrier, pointing out his contribution in strengthening the bilateral military cooperation.
The cooperation with the Swiss Armed Forces is most effective in carrying out joint medical training at the Centre for Military Medical Training at SWISSINT and at the Military Medical Centre, as well as carrying out Climbing Training at the training centres in Switzerland.
