Yesterday, 12th September, at the Joint Operations Command (JOC) there was a change of appointment ceremony for the appointment Chief of Staff at the JOC and at the same time apointment of the new JOC Deputy Commander.
The appointment Chief of Staff of JOC was handed over to Brigadier General Stojan Dimchov, who until now was the commander of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade, and the former Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Muhamet Racaj, was appointed JOC Deputy Commander.
The ceremony was attended by JOC subordinate units commanders and the JOC service personnel. After the official announcement of the appointments, the JOC Commander Major General Metodija Velichkovski highlighted that it is very difficult, in a few minutes, to show appreciation to both Briagdier Generals Racaj and Dimcov for their achievements and contributions during their duty at their former appointments. He welcomed the new Chief of Staff , and expressed his gratitude to the former Chief of Staff for his work unti now. He also added that the new appointments contribute to the successful acomplishment of the tasks and duties of the JOC mission, and he wished both of them fruitfull and succcessful work at their new appointments.
