Traditionally before the New Year holidays, the senior military leaders held a meeting with the former Chiefs of General Staff, former Defense Ministers and retired generals at the Army House in Skopje, today.
At the meeting, in the presence of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, the Minister of Defense, Slavjanka Petrovska and the Chief of General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, the former most responsible people in the defense and the generals retired this year had the opportunity to be familiarized with current activities, defense procedures, and upcoming activities.
The attendees received recognition for their contribution to the Army’s achievements over three decades of development by the senior military leaders
The former Chiefs of General Staff, the former Defense Ministers and the retired generals had the opportunity to state their proposals and suggestions, as well as to share their experiences.
The meeting was attended by President Pendarovski, Minister Petrovska and the Chief of General Staff, General Gjurchinovski, as well as other Army generals and some heads of departments in the Ministry of Defense and the President’s office.
