In the period from 04 to 15.05.2015 in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia ten members of ARM took part in an international logistics exercise. At the exercise beside the ARM logistic officers there were representatives from the following armies: Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Croatia, Finland, Montenegro, Moldova and Sweden.
The aim of the exercise was to increase interoperability of the participants during planning, establishing, deployment, operation and redeployment of the units with an emphasis on providing multinational logistic support. At LOGEX 2015 the level of training of the staff logistic officers for training and deployment of forces in accordance with NATO Command and Control system was demonstrated, as well as the procedures for support of host countries, accepting, accommodation and movement, related to reassignment within a multinational brigade.
This exercise, which has been conducted in the last few years, has proven to be successful for further training of the staff logistic officers of the armies in the region and an excellent opportunity in gaining insight into the complexity of the logistics support of up to brigade level units following NATO logistics planning and implementation procedures.
ARM staff officers during the exercise have demonstrated a high level of interoperability and skills in implementing NATO reporting procedures and NATO systems such as LOGFAS and others.
