In the period from 4 to 29 December 2023, in the Medical Training Department (MTD) at the Military Medical Center, Basic and Advanced Course for Lifesavers were carried out for members of the Department for Protection of Specific Persons and Facilities (DPSPF) within the Ministry of Interior. The aim of the course was training in emergency casualty care, vital injuries care and fast transportation to the appropriate medical facility. In addition to the above, techniques for managing injuries and diseases that negatively affect personal health were learnt.
The course participants mastered the knowledge and skills for life-saving procedures in case of medical emergency, as well as procedures for treating injuries and diseases, with high motivation. They successfully demonstrated the new skills at the final exercise, conducted in front of representatives of the Army and the Ministry of Interior.
The course ended with an appropriate ceremony and award of certificates. The attendees were addressed by the head officials from the MTD, the General Staff, and the Department for the Protection of Specific Persons and Facilities. They emphasized the importance of medical training for the members of this highly specialized, professional security formation. As a sign of gratitude for the successful cooperation in the field of medical training, the representatives of (DPSPF) awarded a plaque to MMC.
