On July 20, 2023, a working meeting with representatives of the Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) from the US Army was held on the premises of the Logistic Base Command.
At the meeting, the functional arrangement of the spare parts supply, a logistics function, and the link with the maintenance facilities was presented.
The meeting focused on the procedure for the supply of spare parts and maintenance of vehicles from the JLTV and Stryker programmes, that is, the preparations for their proper maintenance upon introduction into operational use in the Army. In addition, the possibilities for improving the maintenance process were discussed by organizing dedicated training for personnel from logistics units and referral to specialized courses and training in the field of maintenance of vehicles from the JLTV and Stryker programmes in the USA.
In the end, the representatives of the Logistic Base expressed their gratitude for the visit and the exchange of experiences with the possibility of intensifying the cooperation with the SFAB team for improving the maintenance capabilities in the Army.
