In the area of responsibilities of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion (2.MIBn) and the 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion (4.MIBn) and in accordance with the training calendar, the members of the reconnaissance platoon of the 2.MIBn and 4.MIBn of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade this year, as every other year, had a successful professional-specialized training on the topic “Camping and Training in Nature” at the terrains of Osogovo Mountain and the area of the village Trebenishta – Kicevo.
The goal of this camping is to face the survival in practice by personally creating conditions for living and working by constructing shelters, filtration of drinking water from springs and streams, feeding, finding, classifying and using the flora and fauna in the mountains and rivers in the broader area of the villages Trebenishta – Kicevo and Polaki – Kocani in conditions when there is no regular supply of means for the unit.
During the camping, the members showed their psychophysical readiness for successful training in real-life conditions and their dedication to complete the obligations and tasks, isolated from the civilization, without the everyday means for living and working.
