On September 16, 2025, at the premises of the Operations Command (OC) in Kumanovo, a Briefing for the specification of the exercise “Blesok 26” was held. The briefing follows the Conference for the preparation of the exercise “Blesok 26” held from September 9 to September 12, 2025.
The aim of the exercise “Blesok 26”, which will take place from April 19 to April 27, 2026, is to assess and demonstrate the high level of combat readiness of the Light Infantry Battalion Group (LIBG) through a fictitious scenario. The assessment will be carried out in accordance with the Standards for Assessing the Combat Readiness of Ground Commands and Units of the NATO Joint Operations Command, AFS Vol. VII – CREVAL (Allied Command Operations Forces Standards Volume VII – Combat Readiness Evaluations of Land HQs and Units).
In addition to the Commander of the OC, the briefing was also attended by the Commander of the First Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, the Chiefs of Sections from the OC, the Exercise Director and the “Blesok 26” Exercise Planning Group.
The specification was signed by the Commander of the OC, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, who also provided specific guidelines for continuing the planning process, which would achieve the goals for the successful implementation of the exercise “Blesok 26”.
