Aligned with the annual training plan, the Military Police Battalion (MPBn) personnel from subordinate units conducted winter warfare training in the northwestern part of the country, on the slopes of the Shar Mountain, from 26 January to 13 February 2026.
During the training, personnel practically confirmed and enhanced their capabilities to perform tasks in winter conditions, including: movement through deep snow, overcoming obstacles using formation and improvised means, constructing and operating in snow shelters, assuming firing positions with personal weapons in deep snow, and carrying out procedures for casualty extraction and safe evacuation using field-expedient methods.
In accordance with the planned training program, established standards, and procedures, all scheduled topics were fully covered and successfully completed. As a result, MPBn personnel acquired the necessary knowledge and skills, achieving full operational readiness for the professional, timely, and efficient execution of tasks and missions in all weather and terrain conditions.
