Today, 27.03.2014 (Thursday), The Air Defence Battalion (ADB) from the composition of the air force brigade (afbr) at ATA Krivolak, the personnel from the declared ADB platoon, conducted live firing at targets in the airspace with 20/3 mm anti-aircraft cannon.
The firing took place within the camping of which the members of the ADB are present, where the personnel from the declared ADB platoon, which is part of the Medium Infantry Battalion Group (MIBG), will carry out departmental life firing at targets on the ground using 20/3 mm AA Cannon.
The transfer of part of the armament of the composition of ADB was performed using a helicopter from the composition of the transport helicopter squadron of AFBr. This type of transport is carried out for the third time and is indicative of the excellent cooperation and training of the members of different units of AFBr.
The camping and the firing are part of the regular and planned activities of the battalion, which aim to improve the level of training of the members of the ADB, as well as gaining more experience in handling the armament of the composition of ADB.
The firing was conducted successfully with members of ADB showing high readiness and training in handling the armament of their composition, and both firings were evaluated “pass”.
