On 19 and 20 March at the Joint Operational Command (JOC) of the ARM, 1.Mehanized Infantry Brigade (1st MIB) Air Brigade (AB), Logistics Support Brigade (LSB) and the Reserve Force, inspection team pertinent to the specified area made a visit in accordance with the provisions specified in the “Vienna document 2011”.
The inspection team was comprised of members of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, the Republic of Croatia, and was accompanied by a team of the Department of Arms Control Verification at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia.
The tour began at the command of the JOC and Reserve force at the Kumanovo garrison and then it continued at the 1st MIB and AB at the Petrovec garrison; today, the tour continues to the Logistics Support Brigade in Skopje and 3 rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion as a part of the 1st MIB in Tetovo.
During the tour, the inspection team was informed by the key personnel in the JOC and the commands of the first subordinate units about all the activities and situations relating to the provisions of the “Vienna Document 2011” as well as the history, mission, organizational and formational structure, fill for personnel and equipment within the units.
