On September, 23th the 1th Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1st MIB) was visited by a team of four-member inspection from the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Norway, accompanied by a team from the Department for Verification and Arms Control at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia. The purpose of the visit was inspection of specified area in accordance with the “Vienna Document 2011”.
The inspection team visited the command of the 1st MIB and Armored Battalion in garrison Petrovec, the 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion in Kicevo and the Artillery Battalion in Prilep.
Key personnel from the 1st MIB, including the subordinate commands of the 1st MIB, familiarized the inspection team with units’ history, mission, organizational structure, number of personnel, materials used, and other activities referring to the regulations from the “Vienna Document 2011”.
