Today, Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of General Staff, Major General Azim Nuredin, the Operations Command Commander, Brigadier General Besnik Emini and the 1st Infantry Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, visited the soldiers in the “Chede” Filipovski – Dame” barracks in Kichevo where the 1st infantry battalion is located.
During the visit, Minister Misajlovski was briefed by the 1st Infantry Battalion Commander, Lt. Col. Zorancho Ristovski, about the mission, tasks and responsibilities of the unit, as well as about the engagement of the battalion members in peacekeeping missions, exercises, and support of other institutions.
Minister Misajlovski emphasized to the attendants that in the coming period, greater attention will be paid to equipping the facilities for the needs of the 1st Infantry Battalion.
As part of today’s visit, the members presented a part of the equipment of the 1st Infantry Battalion.
