In the period from April 26 to 28, 2022, a training with the key personnel of the artillery branch was conducted at the barracks “Mirce Acev” in Prilep. Officers from the artillery battalion and artillery units of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1IBde) were participants in the training.
Representatives of the 4th Security Forces Assistance Brigade of the United States Armed Forces, 4th SFAB also took part in the training and actively participated in the presentations and the practical part by exchanging experiences between the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia and the US Army.
The participants with their presentations actively contributed to the full implementation of all elements of fire support, with relevant initiatives to overcome the shortcomings.
Several days of training contributed to knowledge acquisition and exchange of experiences, in order to help the personnel to overcome the challenges more easily during tasks performance in the area of artillery, thus the goal of the organization of the training was fully achieved.
During the training, the participants were visited by the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Colonel Sasko Lafchiski.
