In accordance with the yearly plan of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1stIBde) and in compliance with all the COVID-19 protocol, from 22nd to 26th March, Training for exchange of experiences in the field of artillery was executed at the artillery battalion quarters at military barracks ‘Mirche Acev’ in Prilep and the firing range ‘Lekovo’.
During the Training, Artillery battalion officers and NCOs together with artillery personnel from the infantry battalions of the 1stIBde and the Special Forces Battalion (SFBn) personnel, theoretically through presentations, discussions and exchange of personal experiences and practically by carrying out exercise shooting with 105 mm howitzers with inserted 20 mm barrel, at firing range ‘Lekovo’, upgraded and improved their knowledge in the field of artillery.
Forward Observer Training provides great opportunity for practicing and gaining new experiences in order to overcome the challenges they face while performing their duties in the area of artillery, which met the aim of this several-day training.
