At military barracks ‘Mirche Acev’ in Prilep members of the Artillery Battalion (ArtBn) marked April, 10th – Day of the Unit with an appropriate military ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by the Operations Command (OC) Commander, Brigadier General Besnik Emini, 1st Infantry Brigade (1stIBde) Commander, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski, Army unit commanders, former unit commanders, representatives of the Alliance of War Veterans, mayors of nearby municipalities, representatives of the public and business sector in the region, as well as, local media.
ArtBn Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Slavcho Kuzmanoski, addressed present guests and in his speech presented unit’s history and focused on realized activities and results achieved by the unit in the past period.
1st IBde Commander, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski congratulated ArtBn members on the Day of the Unit wishing them and their families good health.
On this occasion incentives were awarded to battalion members, and the platoon led by Second Lieutenant Monika Mitrevska was named the best platoon and received the cup and flag of the unit.
Upon this occasion members of the artillery battalion organized numerous activities: sports competitions, blood donation activities and display of armament and equipment.
