A military ceremony was held today at the “Ilinden” barracks to mark November 27, the Day of the Reconnaissance- Intelligence Battalion (RecceIntelBn)
The commander of the (RecceIntelBn), Lieutenant Colonel Nikolocho Jovanov, addressing the guests, emphasized that today’s celebration marks the dedication, sacrifice, patriotism, and achievements of all the Rangers who are and have been part of, as he stated, this exceptional brotherhood. He pointed out that the Rangers are not just a group of individuals, but a cohesive team united by a common goal, and he is confident that in the future they will continue to overcome all challenges together and achieve even greater success.
The commander of the Operations Command (OC), Brigadier General Besnik Emini, who is also a former commander of the unit, thanked the members of the Battalion for their hard work and commitment, and expressed confidence that the battalion will continue to be an example of expertise, discipline, and leadership in our Army.
During the ceremony, members of the unit were promoted to higher ranks, and commendations and incentives were awarded for exceptional performance.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Azim Nuredin, the Chief of Staff of the OC, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, the advisor to the Chief of General Staff of the Army, Brigadier General Orce Jordev, the commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, former commanders and members of the unit, as well as other guests.
