In the barracks “Boro Menkov” in Kumanovo, there was a celebration of its patron by laying flowers at the bust of Boro Menkov. It has been 81 years since the death of the national hero Boro Menkov, who was killed in the area of the village Belanovce, as a member of the Karadac partisan unit, destroyed two days after its formation.
The commander of the 1st Infantry Battalion, Major Shpejtim Cherimi, gave a speech about the life and work of the national hero Boro Menkov, whose name the barracks “Boro Menkov” proudly bears.
At the celebration, delegations from the Operations Command led by the Chief of Staff of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Mirce Gjorgoski, the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski and a delegation from the command and staff of the 1st Infantry Brigade laid flowers.
As part of the celebration, there was a blood donation action in the garrison Kumanovo, and 46 units of blood were donated.
