On the occasion of marking 20 years since tragic death of MPBn Commander, Captain 1st Class Ljupcho Mirchovski, a wreath of fresh flowers was laid before the Memorial in front of the MPBn Command building at military barracks ‘Ilinden’ in Skopje.
Members of units located at military barracks ‘Ilinden’, close family members of the deceased commander, other family and friends attended the commemoration.
Lieutenant Colonel Kire Nikolovski, Commander of Military Police Battalion, addressed the
attendees referring to the life and accomplishments of Captain 1st Class Ljupcho Mirchovski, pointing out his professionalism, determination, persistence and expertise in carrying out given tasks, duties and goals while building the image and affirming the unit and the Army. ‘We, members of the MPBn and your successors have the responsibility and the honour to thread the path you have set, and with pride and gratitude to remember Your accomplishments. We are proud we had you as our Commander’ – stressed Lieutenant Colonel Nikolovski.
The commemoration was held in compliance with all the COVID-19 protocols.
