Today, 29 September, Logistic Support Brigade (LSBde) was host to the association of accredited defence attachés to the Republic of Macedonia.
At the briefing given by the LSBde key personnel, the defence attachés were acquainted with the structure, mission and basic tasks, as well as the current strength and the available equipment and means of LSBde and the Army Medical Centre.
The defence attachés also visited the Center for Medical Training within the AMC, which since its founding has developed into a national and regional center for medical training of medical and non medical personnel and training of medical teams before mission deployment.
The training conducted at AMC is in accordance with NATO standards and beside the ARM service personnel it is also used by soldiers from armies in the region and partner countries, as well as members of special police units of RM and civil institutions.
During the visit it was talked about, the experience, benefits and lessons learned from the participation in peace missions and international exercises, as well as the possibilities for logistic cooperation.
The visit is part of regular activities of the programme for cooperation between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia and the Association of defence attachés to the Republic of Macedonia.
