Head of the US Defence Cooperation Office visits Operations Command

The newly appointed Chief of the US Office for Defence Cooperation (ODC), Sean Ruffolo, visited the Operations Command (OC). He was received by the OC Commander, Brigadier General Besnik Emini.

The aim of this visit was to familiarize with the Army units and continue the existing cooperation with the Defence Cooperation Office.

After visiting the OC, Lieutenant Colonel Sean Ruffolo had a meeting with the Commander of the 1^st Infantry Brigade (1^st IBde), Colonel Sashko Lafchiski, where he was introduced to the process of transformation of forces, personnel, armament, equipment and training, as well as with the process of 1^st IBde modernization so far.

Enthusiasm was expressed, at both meetings, to preserve and increase the existing cooperation, in order to fulfill the goals and tasks for overcoming the challenges in the Army, which might appear during his commission.
