The Chief of the NATO Advisory team in Republic of North Macedonia, Colonel Zoran Jankovic visited the 1st Infantry Brigade Command (1IB). He was welcomed by the brigade commander, Colonel Besnik Emini.
The purpose of the visit is to share experiences in order to provide support in the process of transformation of the brigade as well as for the Light Infantry Battalion Group (LIBG), its readiness, personnel transformation process, armaments and equipment as well as training of declared personnel. Colonel Jankovic was also briefed on the current process of transformation and modernization of the 1IB and the subordinate units.
At the end of the visit, Colonel Jankovic expressed readiness to continue and to strengthen further cooperation in achieving goals and tasks for easier resolution of problems that may occur while implementing the obligations that our country as a NATO member state has to fulfill.
