On 20 May, 2026, about 100 pupils aged 7 to 8 from the “Vlado Tasevski” Primary School in Skopje, accompanied by their teachers, made an educational and informative visit to the units of the Army’s Air Force WING.
The visit was organized to give the students firsthand exposure to some of the activities and operations of military aviation, using content adapted to their age. To this end, members of the AF WING gave several brief presentations and explanations about the daily work and tasks performed by the aviation units.
The students had the opportunity to learn more about the pilot profession, the role of technical personnel, and the importance of teamwork in the maintenance and operation of aircraft. Through an interactive approach, the students were also introduced to the basic characteristics of some of the aircraft used by the Army.
The opportunity to get a close-up look at some of the aircraft sparked particular interest among the students, allowing them to gain a better understanding of their function and use through a simple and interactive experience.
By organizing such activities, the AF WING continues to contribute to the development of Civil-Military Cooperation, while simultaneously promoting aviation, technical professions, and the importance of the Army among the younger population.
