A team from the NATO Liaison Office in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia visited the Joint Operations Command (JOC) of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia.
During the visit, the representatives of the NATO Liaison Office in Skopje had a working meeting with JOC Commander Major General Pavle Arsoski, who informed them about the mission, structure, capacities and capabilities of the JOC.
Тhe team from the NATO Liaison Office in Skopje, composed of representatives from Bulgaria, Albania, Italy and Greece, expressed gratitude for the reception in the JOC. The purpose of such visits is to share experiences in order to support the Army of the Republic of Macedonia in the preparation of strategic documents, as well as the process of transformation. Also, in the past days, the team was familiarized though a presentation with the mission and tasks of the Signals Battalion, during the visit of it.
At the end of the visit, both parties expressed readiness for continuing and strengthening the cooperation to support the aspirations of the Republic of Macedonia for full-fledged NATO and EU membership.
