At barracks “Boro Menkov” in Kumanovo, there was a military ceremony for the handover of the duty Commander of the 1st Infantry Battalion (1InfBn), of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1InfBde), during which Lieutenant Colonel Mirche Tasev became the newly appointed commander.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commander of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Orce Jordev, 1InfBde Deputy Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Vasko Kokolanski, chiefs 1InfBde sections, commanders of 1InfBde units, and other guests.
The Deputy Commander of 1InfBde addresses the guests and wished the newly appointed commander of 1st InfBn success in his new post. The new commander, Lieutenant Colonel Mirche Tasev thanked for the thrust which was given to him to be a commander of this unit and stressed that he will command the unit conscientiously and responsibly.
The ceremony finished with the reception of the unit’s flag in accordance with protocol rules.
