Today, the 19th of December, in Kumanovo, the Commander of the Joint Operations Command (JOC) and the key personnel met the ARM personnel who are going to be a part of the Security Forces securing the Command in the mission “Decisive Support”, which encompasses training and mentoring.
The personnel who were present at the meeting included: the Commander of JOC Major General Metodija Velichkovski, First Mechanized Infantry Brigade Commander (1MIBde) Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski, JOC key personnel and 1MIBde personnel responsible for mission preparations.
General Velichkovski said that he expected this rotation to continue Macedonian successful and meticulous task accomplishments which had been demonstrated in the last 12 years in the ISAF mission. He also stressed that ARM personnel would give their further contribution in affirmation of ARM and Republic of Macedonia as a valuable partner.
This rotation consists of 20 personnel whose task together with the USA army is to secure the mission Command in Kabul, Afghanistan.
In accordance with the decree issued by the Government and the Parliament of Republic of Macedonia, ARM will take part in the Mission “Decisive Support” with 5 more personnel within the German contingent in the North Command and 13 personnel within the Turkish contingent in the Command in Kabul.
