Today, 30th September, at the barracks “Ilinden”, a ceremony was held on the occasion of handing over of duty commander of the 3rd Logistics Battalion, part of the Logistics Support Brigade (LSBde).
Major Feto Bajrami, previously posted Deputy Commander of the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion (3rdMIBn) within the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1stMIBde) received the duty commander of the 3rd Logistics Battalion from Lieutenant Colonel Muharem Muharemi.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chief of ARM GS, Major General Muhamet Racaj, representatives of the Joint Operations Command, the command of the LSBde, the commanders of battalions within the LSBde and the commanders of the units stationed in the barracks “Ilinden”.
The Deputy Commander of the LSBde, Lieutenant Colonel Cvetko Janevski, in his speech thanked the outgoing commander for the achieved results and successful cooperation, and congratulating the newly-appointed commander his duty, demanded maximum commitment to the specificity and the challenges of this extremely dynamic unit.
Lieutenant Colonel Muharem Muharemi noted that the lineup in front of them represents a collective featuring perseverance and consistency, a collective that selflessly incorporates its knowledge and energy in the accomplishment of tasks.
The newly-appointed commander, Major Feto Bajrami, stated that he would use his acquired knowledge and work experience in the 3rdMIBn, but also expects support from all members of the unit for implementation of the unit’s mission, thereby justifying the trust put in him to manage the unit.
At the end of the occasion there was a ceremonious handing over of battalion’s military flag.
