From 22 to 25 September 2026, personnel from the Flight Support Platoon of the Command Company (FSPl/CCoy), part of the Air Force WING, conducted Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) training at the NH “Strasho Pindzur” Barracks in Petrovec, with the support of the Helicopter Squadron (HSqn).
The training was designed to enhance the personnel’s capabilities to plan and execute combat search and rescue missions, with particular emphasis on the effective coordination and synchronization of ground teams and helicopter crews.
The training included practical exercises focused on the search for, location and extraction of personnel, the application of securing and extraction techniques, and the preparation and helicopter evacuation of casualties. Particular emphasis was placed on the timely exchange of information, effective communication and coordination among all participants, as well as on the safe and efficient execution of procedures throughout the rescue and evacuation process.
The training enhanced the individual and collective capabilities of FSPl/CCoy personnel and further strengthened interoperability with the HSqn, contributing to a high level of readiness to conduct combat search and rescue missions.
