The servicemen of the Armored Reconnaissance Platoons of the subordinate units of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade within the Joint Operations Command had a specialized training in summer conditions in the camp Radozda by the Ohrid Lake, from 20.08 to 04.09.2015.
The aim of this exercise was to train the servicemen of these platoons in: different swimming techniques, going over water obstacles, water combat, gaining confidence in their work in shallow and deep water, diving, giving first aid to near drowning victims, using vessels and making makeshift vessels with available means.
All planned activities were conducted successfully and safely. The most important aspect was training the servicemen to perform the most essential combat tasks, reconnaissance, and water operations.
During their training the servicemen showed high level of professionalism and they gained the necessary qualifications and confidence to be in water combat.
