On the 5th of May, representatives of the 1stMIBde and ADBde command, headed by 1stMIBde commander Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski and ADBde Colonel Kire Kolevski, with the county council celebrated the day of the county. It was celebrated by a cultural school show at the new sports gym in the yard of the elementary school ”Kocho Racin”, Petrovec.
On the 6th of May the celebration continued with a blood donation event at which personnel from the garrison Petrovec took part. The event was held at the fire brigade building.
On the 7th of May there was a tactics and technology gathering (TT gathering) in the military barracks “Strasho Pindjur” for the students of ES “Kocho Racin”. At the gathering, there was a display of weapons, equipment, vehicles and aircrafts of both units. Students from the Vocational High School “Gjorgji Naumov”, Bitola, visited the Air Defense Brigade. They saw a few aircrafts and had an opportunity to get acquainted with them because a pilot or a flight technician was at their disposal to answer their questions.
The First Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1stMIBde) and the Air Defense Brigade (ADBde) have maintained good civil-military cooperation in their area of responsibility with the local authorities. This year, as many years before, they took part in the celebration of 6th of May, the day of County Petrovrec. It was a part of the planned activities prepared by the County Council of Petrovec.
ARM personnel once again have confirmed their readiness to cooperate with the civilian population by taking part in the activities for celebrating the day of the County Petrovec. They have shown that they are ready to continue their cooperation with the civilian population from the county where the units are located.
