The members of the first infantry company with one mortar platoon 120mm from the second infantry battalion (2.ib) from the 1st infantry brigade (1.ibr) from 22 to 30. 03.2021 as part of the annual training plan of the unit at the “Krivolak” Army Training Area realized stationary camping with tactical exercise with platoon live-firing, artillery platoon live-firing, and also tactical exercise with company live-firing.
The skills and the readiness of the unit for performance of the predicted tasks on terrain were presented during the camping at the “Krivolak” Army Training Area, demonstrated with successful realization of the planned firing.
A high level of training, good skills, physical fitness and coordination, easy mastering of the terrain and fast distance estimation to destroy the targets is necessary for successful realization of this kind of live-firing exercises, which was shown in practice by the members of the first company, particularly during the realization of the life-firing tactical exercise of the offensive infantry company supported by a platoon of 120mm mortar.
The realization of the live-firing tactical exercise of offensive infantry company supported by a sniper team and 120 mm mortar platoon, was followed by the commander of the Operations Command, Major General Pavle Arsovski accompanied by the advisor to the Army from the United Kingdom, Brigadier John Bowron and the key personnel from the command and the staff of the 1.ibr.
