From 2 to 8 June, 2024, a team from the Military Police Battalion (MPBn), with two motor vehicles, attended the ‘Training in Close Protection Team’ course in Greece.
The aim of the course was to enhance synchronization and coordination of capabilities between the two armies, when performing military-police duties.
As previously, MPBn members, displaying their professional and responsible behavior contribute to this great opportunity to promote and improve the reputation of the unit, as well as the Army in general, at an international level.
The course offered training on different topics, such as, Self-Defense, Protecting VIPs, various shootings, and other. During the course, high level of interoperability and capability to integrate with the international forces while performing high-intensity operations was displayed.
Participating in this type of courses enables better interpretation of the procedures, techniques and tactics for organizing and carrying out military-police tasks, in accordance with NATO standards.
