In the period from 10th to 21st of June, 2024, a unit of the Military Police Battalion (MPB), with two motor vehicles, participated in the military-police tactical exercise “Platinum Wolf 24” at the Borovac training area near Bujanovac, Serbia.
In addition to members of the MPB, the military-police exercise also included members from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy and Hungary, as well as instructors from Serbia, Italy, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Germany, with whom our Army has established cooperation in the domain of the Military Police services. The exercise aimed to advance the synchronization and coordination of the capabilities to perform military-police tasks between the armies of the countries participating in the exercise.
As always, the members of the MPB with their professional and responsible behavior contribute to an excellent opportunity for affirmation and improvement of the reputation of the unit, as well as of the Army as a whole, at international level.
During the exercise, the section, together with other participants, carried out training on several topics, namely: tactics, techniques and procedures in peace operations, non-lethal weapons, as well as peace support operations. The exercise demonstrated the high level of interoperability and the ability to integrate into international forces during high-intensity operations.
The participation of the MPB members in such multinational tactical exercises enables a better development of procedures, techniques and tactics in the organization and performance of military-police tasks in accordance with NATO standards.
