Joint training activities of the members of the Engineer Battalion from the Operations Command and the US AF 15th Engineer Battalion at the Army Training Area “Krivolak” continue intensively.
Some of the ongoing activities are: building new and repairing existing roadways, buildings for training, storehouses, shooting ranges and a runaway for unmanned aerial vehicles
Building new and repairing part of the existing infrastructure of ATA” Krivolak is also part of the preparations for the upcoming exercise “Decisive Strike-21”. These activities and the joint training, which is in line with NATO standards, will increase the interoperability of the procedures and enable familiarization with the equipment used by both units.
The activities that are being undertaken will create conditions for successful execution of the exercise “Decisive Strike-21”, as well as modernization of the ATA “Krivolak”, which will become a modern army training centre.
The exercise “Decisive Strike-21” will take place from 17th May to 01st June 2021 at ATA “Krivolak”. 1100 members the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia will participate as well as 300 members of the US army and twenty members of the armies of the R. Greece and R. Bulgaria, respectively.
