On 30 October, with the aim of familiarizing themselves with the terrain in the northeastern region of the country, the Command of the Honor Guard Battalion conducted a command reconnaissance along the Kumanovo-Kriva Palanka route.
As part of the activity, the members visited the Memorial Ossuary in Kumanovo, the ASNOM Memorial Center in Pelince, the Zebrnjak Memorial site and the Neolithic observatory Kokino. In addition to gaining insight into the geographical characteristics of this part of the country, the command reconnaissance enabled the members of the Honor Guard Battalion Command to visit significant sites of the region’s rich cultural and historical heritage, which is important for the battalion’s future tasks and ceremonial activities.
