Today, by lying fresh flowers, a tribute was paid to the four fallen Army members, who tragically lost their lives twenty-three years ago in Vejce, at the memorial in front of the Special Forces Battalion in the “Ilinden” barracks.
The Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska, the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, the delegations from the Special Forces Battalion, the commands of the Army units, the Ministry of Interior and the families of the deceased laid wreaths of fresh flowers.
On this day in 2001, near the village of Vejce, near Tetovo, Robert Petkovski, Boban Trajkovski, Mile Janevski and Igor Kosteski from the ranks of the Army and four members from the Ministry of Interior were killed.
