The Chief of the General Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Fatih Ulusoy and the Defense Attache, Colonel Recai Yilmaz.
At the meeting, they discussed the bilateral military cooperation so far and the possibilities for its intensification in the upcoming period, as part of the planned joint activities and the needs to improve interoperability.
General Lafchiski expressed his gratitude for the continuous support from the Republic of Türkey, which is our strategic ally. It is realized through continuous donations of equipment, the training and education of members of the Army in the military educational institutions of the Turkish Armed Forces, as well as the participation of our members in the EUFOR Altea mission within the Turkish contingent.
