The Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Army, Major General Azim Nuredin, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation, Veronika Hulman, held a protocol meeting with Colonel Amiet Urs, former Defense Attachè and the newly appointed Defense Attaché of the Swiss Confederation for the Republic of North Macedonia, Colonel Reto Ruch.
At the meeting, General Nuredin congratulated Colonel Reto Ruch on the appointment of the new duty, which he will perform based in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, and thanked Colonel Amiet Urs for his previous engagement and commitment to the advancement of bilateral cooperation during his mandate.
Bilateral cooperation with the armed forces of the Swiss Confederation is particularly expressed through continuous cooperation in conducting joint medical training in the Medical Support Battalion and conducting summer and winter mountaineering training in training centres in Switzerland.
