Members of the Special Forces Battalion showed high interoperability in execution of exercise activities during the regular annual exercise “Trojan Footprint 22”, conducted in the period from 18.04 to 13.05.2022, at several locations in Europe, including the Republic of North Macedonia.
Besides members of our Special Forces Battalion, members of the Special Forces Battalion from the Allied Armies of the United States and the United Kingdom participated in the exercise activities conducted at the ATAs “Krivolak”, “Stenkovec” and “Kraste”, in the Republic of North Macedonia
The purpose of this regular annual exercise of the Special Forces, organized and led by the United States Army for Europe and Africa, is to improve the capabilities of special forces operations in coordination with conventional forces, collective combat readiness for deployment and response to any crisis, as well as increasing interoperability, interconnection and trust between the Allied armies.
More than 3,300 participants from 30 armies took part in this year’s “Trojan Footprint 22” exercise, with ground, air and naval operations conducted in Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
